Two Things To Consider This Spring Season

Coming out of my winter slumber, I feel a subtle tingle of energy pulsating throughout my body. But while exciting and new, it’s important to be mindful of where we choose to direct that energy.

I love spring. 

I love the energy of spring after a long winter season of deep hibernation, introspection, nurturing, and slowness. I imagine bears starting to come out of their dens, sunlight caressing their faces, giving a big stretch towards the sky, a little shoulder shimmy, and a smile that it’s time to get moving again. To start foraging for all things fresh, colorful, and invigorating to their senses and bodies. 

I feel it too. 

I feel myself coming out of my winter slumber, my seasonal depression, and am starting to feel this subtle tingle of energy pulsating throughout my body again. It’s as if this energy is searching for the right area ready to burst with new life. 

I love this feeling.
